Perfect Imperfection celebrates the fallible, beautiful nature of being human. Through the next chapter of Icons of London, including new portraits of NW3 icons, and work that looks at the theme through personal experience, artist Nicholas a. Ferguson offers an antidote to a culture focused on apparent perfection, void of nuance.
Ferguson, who was raised in Switzerland, works across paint and poetry bringing two decades in branding to the service of emotional truth, with work exhibited in London, Berlin and Ibiza and collected internationally.
Icons of London is a portrait series built on public nominations, as a celebration of the city. Here it brings figures such as Helena Bonham Carter, Amelia Dimoldenberg, Karl Marx and Barbara Hepworth together with local legends from NW3 and beyond.
