ALBERTO PETRIVELLI – “THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS”

  • ALBERTO PETRIVELLI
  • presents “THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS”

Alberto Petrivelli’s unique use of mixed media began in 2010 that became his mark through building on reconstructed canvas, use of iron, steel, synthetics, natural fabrics, resins, acrylic and oil paint. These materials are then shaped out of the canvas into sculptures.

The main concept of his work is a study and expression of the human consciousness and the process of our minds behind every single thought and the research of how the illusion of time and space affecting our existences. His art is constantly reshaping itself, trying to find and identifying the true identity and meaning of our lives.

“Through the looking glass” Exhibition is a subjective interpretation of a world that suddenly appears unfamiliar. The works exhibited were made during and right after the pandemic of 2020 and during the various lockdowns, when we all had to “stop” and slow down, giving us the opportunity to see the world clearly, facing ourselves perhaps for the first time.

Frances Bildner – “Freedom in Colour”

Frances Bildner  – “Freedom in Colour”

7th February 2022 – 4th April 2022

”New Works for more optimistic times!

With coming out of lock down and the latest Omicron fears easing up, it’s time to look forward to some fresh outlooks. Frances Bildner of Frances Bildner Expressive Arts sells her vibrant artwork to businesses and residences. Her paintings often tell stories, albeit abstract work. Her work enhances both the workforce and people’s homes by adding vitality to the environment. Her paintings, described by New York’s Village Voice as being “vital enough to convert even the most jaded of people” will bring life and colour to the walls.

The various cities she has lived in, Buenos Aires, New York and London have influenced her in their vibrancy, pace and colour. From her own imagination coupled with her environments, we see emerging bursts of colour, gesture and movement that cover the canvases.

Colour is such an important part of our world, it needs to be a greater part of it. Cities like Buenos Aires are awash with colour. Doors, houses, cafes are all colourful. It makes for happy times!”

Join us to experience a unique night made of Art,
creative minds and good music.
